Tikka’s first dock diving event is in the books! Tikka says thank you Dustin for kicking butt with me in Disc, and Kendra for helping me get my butt up in the air! And her Dad Jeff for cheering us on and getting us what we needed. She went from frog jump to 9’11” to 15’6” to win novice finals and took second in Disc. She’s not quite a year old so it’s only up from here. I wanna give a shout out to Deb Campbell for all the help in building her conference in general I can’t recommend her enough!
Charlie and I just finished our first basic obedience class. She was almost 6 months old when we started, and had so much puppy energy I had blisters on my hands after the first class from the leash. Deb and Rex made everything so easy to learn, so I could teach Charlie the correct way. They gave so much advice to help us succeed. I have rheumatoid arthritis in the joints of my collar bone so any pulling or pressure on my shoulders causes an enormous amount of pain. My main goal was having Charlie heel correctly so I can walk her. We worked every day for 7 weeks and while not perfect yet (she is only 7 months old) she does pretty darn good! We will keep working, then once school starts again I want to join another class to keep progress going. Deb and Rex, you have been so much help, I can not thank you enough!
Pretty sure Deb switched dogs on us..
No way could this the same dog we dropped off , well it turned out it was Que !
Que 2.0
Amazing results with his pulling on leash and all around with his other quirks.
His mom could be happier!
She has been putting him through the drills he has learned.
The results of the 1 month B&T have been well worth it!
We will be back in September for a follow up on him. He is a peaceful moose at last.
Thanks
Deb and Rex
From Sheila and and her pup
I contacted
because my Heeler pup was showing aggression at a very young age. I feared the absolute worst if I didn't seek professional help. Deb encouraged me to join her group training classes. Which I was hesitant and scared that my dog would react to in a very negative way. Immediately into the class Deb and Rex made it very clear to the others in the class that my pup was extremely reactive and to give us space which gave me comfort from the start. And although we were in a group setting...I received one on one with both trainers. They gave me the skills to handle my pup in a constructive way. By the end of the six week training, myself and my dog were among the group. Deb and Rex saved my pup...and I couldn't be more grateful for what they have taught me. I do plan on enrolling my dog again to further his training.
I learned so much from Rex and
while in their class. They were patient and kind. Their training tactics are spot on either any temperament of dog. My dog was very stubborn and did not respond to treats and they trained me to show her it's ok. She will place on anything, mostly recalls, that being my lack of continued work, and walks on a leash like a champ. I couldn't have asked for a better couple to teach me. Matter if fact we have signed up another handler and puppy for this season of classes. Thanks Rex and Deb for your hard work, love for what you do, and dedication.

Rex and
are by far the best trainers here in this community. I have personally seen hundreds of people recommending them on a huge community Facebook group that I admin in. I really appreciate the fact that when there is an animal in trouble, or an owner who just needs reassurance or advice, that Deb and Rex are always willing to share their knowledge. That shows a true love for animals.

Rex and
I've personally have message
asking dog questions many time's. I spent some time with Echo before the Campbell's got her and am just blown away by her progress. I personally have paid for classes for a active milatary members dog. Hands down amazing trainers.
After taking my dog to classes, i quickly discovered i was the one that needed to be trained! I learned to walk my dog with confidence, gove proper commands and to follow thru with reinforcements. After taking the classes, i still follow the training to maintain good habits. It feels so good to be able to walk my dog, knowing im in control, how to correct any behaviors, and for both of us to enjoy that time together. I have recommeded these classes to everyone i know!
They not only help train the dog but they train the person to be a better owner and to know their dog’s I recommend them to a new dog owner or an experienced dog owner because they’ve always got something to learn and to teach and I will be taking more classes from them
We have only been to the Orientation so far. My husband is Mr Skeptic on anything like this, but even he was impressed and excited at getting our girls trained with The Campbells. Unfortunately the back surgery I had on the 14th was more intense than the dr knew so Deb graciously moved me to the next class. Honest, sincere, straight shooters like Deb and Rex are hard to find!
They dont train your dog they teach you how to train your dog.My dog is still learning from the techniques they taught me.We continue to do the exercises and of course she likes play time after too.
Deb and Rex are fantastic trainers so good I am back with them and will use them again in the future
From Raelene and Samy When my son and I adopted our dog Samy last year from reedsport k9 shelter, she was not leashed trained, would not come when called, as soon as she saw anything that peaked her interest forget about her listening to anybody at all.. Thanks to Deband Rex, they have taught me how to train her appropriately and the right equipment to use as well.. Now she walks beautifully on the leash, sits and lays down on command, she will also place wherever I need her to. I can also trust Samy that if I tell her to go home from the backyard or down the road from our house she will be waiting for me at the front door (we live out of town, so we don't have to worry about vehicles). On our walks and at home she does amazing with the leave it, out and come commands.. I would probably be still struggling with Samy if not for Deb and Rex. They have boosted my confidence in training and trusting Samy. Samy is a labrador/pitbull mix.
Thank you so much for teaching us! (and thanks for the recommendation Bandon Animal Rescue) When I adopted Ria in May, she was hyper-alert and anxious from living in shelters. She was very smart, and I knew we (she & I) just needed the right skills to overcome her issues. Working with Deb and Rex, following their guidance and practicing being around other dogs in basic obedience class helped tremendously.
One of Ria's biggest fans (who probably weighs about half of what she does) was able to walk her on the beach yesterday, and the first thing she said was "Look! She's walking right beside me!" We will continue to practice and improve!
I want to say "thanks" to Deb and Rex for what they have done for our boy Oscar. After he completed training he responded beautifully to commands and is largely over his separation anxiety; he only barks for a couple minutes after we leave the house, then he goes to sleep. As you might guess from the picture, he is a happier dog and we are happy to have him with us.
So I had something very scary happen to me yesterday afternoon my husband and my daughter started to take our puppy named Shock for a walk but I need to grab a leash for Bella and I couldn’t find the leash that I usually do so I open the door from the inside of my house that goes into the garage and not knowing the door inside the garage that goes to the outside was wide open and Bella ran out without a leash on and just booked it to catch up to them loose without a leash!! She didn’t want to get left behind. It was my worst nightmare! If you know me I am obsessive compulsive about my fur kids I am always the overly crazy woman about keeping them safe and overly protective and it scared me half to death!! Thank goodness Bella and I have had trainers that are extremely awesome I held my composure I didn’t run after her but I was stern and told her stay and she stopped in her tracks and I was able to grab her right away. Also sometimes accidents can happen even to people and fur kids who are trained and you feel that you’re the most prepared but things happen sometimes! Thank goodness I was trained and Bella was and she still is with us right now, who knows what could happened to her if she and I didn’t react the way we did! Blessed and Grateful
Well where do I begin! Let’s start with I was completely unable to walk Axel on my own! He would pull me down, he was aggressive and would go after other dogs and I was unable to hold him back! I was tired, humiliated and defeated. Axel at the time was 110lb. Silver lab the biggest love bug, but as soon as you put a lash on him he became another dog. Even my husband wasn’t able to keep him from going after other dogs. I just wanted to walk my dog... well Joe said you should take Rex Campbell class with his wife, I’ve heard really good things. So I signed up! Omg... I was so nervous, Axel was so nervous, together we were a mess!! But Deb and Rex are amazing the help build our confidence, taught me what to do, the right and wrong why .. and let us figure out our way. So needless to say after 7 weeks we had this shit down!! Axel and are both walking and we both behave appropriately in public now! Lol anyways seriously with out Deb and Rex I would have never learned to handle Axel and I’m very great full. We continue to take their classes with our other dogs! I highly recommend Deb and Rex!.
When Bella and I started classes she was so shy she wouldn’t let anyone near. Rex worked with her each week and helped her gain confidence. Deb and Rex both worked with us and we had amazing results. I have pm’d Deb several times with questions and concerns and she has always been right there with suggestions. Wonderful trainers with unlimitedpatience.
