We have been inundated with rescues for the last year. This has been financially difficult on us so we decided to form a 501c3 non-profit to be able to continue to help the dogs in need in. As soon as the website is completed the dogs that are available for adoption will be on the website. In the mean time you can see
Helping spread the word on our rescue. That will help these babies find homes. You can also donate via cash, Check. Paypal or Zeffy.
Above are a QR code for Zeffy (a non-profit donation site similar to Paypal) or Paypal itself. Zeffy gives us the opportunity to not have the fees that are associated with every donation.
Volunteering or fostering is a wonderful way to help. You can volunteer to take dogs on walks, groom them, foster them, take them to vet appointments, join a group class with them and help teach them some manors so they stay in their forever homes.
We do not get any financial help with the dogs we rescue. We house them, feed them, make sure they are UTD on all shots and work towards getting them fixed.
We often have to put some training on them to help with behavior modification or basic obedience to ensure they say in their forever homes. We also socialize them with other people and dogs. We include a set of free basic obedience classes with every dog that is adopted.
Our staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping dogs and their owners. We are committed to providing excellent care and ensuring that both dogs and their new owners feel comfortable and supported throughout the adoption process. We work with the local shelters and rescues to help when we can.
Buddy is a super sweet, mellow boy that’s had a rough go of it. His owners passed away and the roommate kicked him out and drove off. A customers grandson brought him in to ensure he was fed and not out in the cold. We had him neutered on March 5, 2025 so he is ready to go to him new forever home. He is 90lbs and as sweet as they come.

I dont know a lot about him just yet but he has some wounds on his front right leg. The vet has evaluated him and put him on antibiotics to help clear it up. He also had bilateral ear infections when he came in, they are cleared up now.
We have started some basic training on him as he pulled real hard on a leash and didn't know any commands. He is responding very well.
If you are interested in Buddy his adoption fee at this time is $100.00. As we put more training on him his adoption fee will increase a little.

They reached out for us to do a board and train with e-collar training to ensure he stays in his next home. Vader is a very sound Mal but has needs including exercise and training requirements. If you've ever owned a Mal you know they are the Ferrari of dogs and need an outlet. They are not going to enjoy just being a couch potato. Vader is good with female dogs and some male dogs but is particular who keeps his company.
Vader has had 2 other placements with Brookings animal shelter and I believe the people that adopted him had no idea what they were getting into. Vader would do best in a home with no small children, cats or livestock. He is a drivey boy and loves to chase. He has a great bite and does not let go. to the right person he would be a great

Vader would do best in a home with no small children, cats or livestock. He is a drivey boy and loves to chase. He has a great bite and does not let go. to the right person he would be a great working dog, Search and rescue or even possibly personal protection. He mostly just wants to be with his human all the time. He is a very loyal boy.
Please do your research before trying to adopt any Malinois as they take someone dedicated to training and exercising that beautiful brain of theirs. Mals are the smartest dogs on the planet and will prove it daily if given the opportunity to do so.
Vader is UTD on his shots and neutered.

Maxx has a very sad story, he was in in homeless camp and not fed properly. He came in very malnourished and scrawny. He had 50+ wounds on him from fighting and several sources of infections. His ears were terribly infected inside and out with a massive hematoma on his ear. We think he had to fight for his food. He was very sick when we got him. He is doing much better now but still healing.
Max is about 80 lbs and due to be fixed after his scrotum heals from a very bad infection. Surprisingly enough he is a very sweet boy and loves people and other dogs. He really wants to snuggle all the time. He will be starting basic obedience with one of our volunteers the last week of April. He does need some basic manors but he is eag
