We do not get any financial help with the dogs we rescue. We house them, feed them, make sure they are UTD on all shots and work towards getting them fixed.

We often have to put some training on them to help with behavior modification or basic obedience to ensure they say in their forever homes. We also socialize them with other people and dogs. We include a set of free basic obedience classes with every dog that is adopted.

Our staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping dogs and their owners. We are committed to providing excellent care and ensuring that both dogs and their new owners feel comfortable and supported throughout the adoption process. We work with the local shelters and rescues to help when we can.
Meet Buddy
Buddy
Buddy is a super sweet, mellow boy that’s had a rough go of it. His owners passed away and the roommate kicked him out and drove off. A customers grandson brought him in to ensure he was fed and not out in the cold. We had him neutered on March 5, 2025 so he is ready to go to him new forever home. He is 90lbs and as sweet as they come.

2 yr OLD
I dont know a lot about him just yet but he has some wounds on his front right leg. The vet has evaluated him and put him on antibiotics to help clear it up. He also had bilateral ear infections when he came in, they are cleared up now.

We have started some basic training on him as he pulled real hard on a leash and didn't know any commands. He is responding very well.
If you are interested in Buddy his adoption fee at this time is $100.00. As we put more training on him his adoption fee will increase a little.

Vader is an incredible Belgian Malinois. He is 15 months old and came from Brookings Human Society. Vader is an incredible Belgian Malinois. He is 15 months old and came from Brookings Human Society. They reached out for us to do a board and train with e-collar training to ensure he stays in his next home. Vader is a very sound Mal but has needs including exercise and training requirements. If you've ever owned a Mal you know they are the Ferrari of dogs and need an outlet. They are not going to enjoy just being a couch potato. Vader is good with female dogs and some male dogs but is particular who keeps his company.

Vader has had 2 other placements with Brookings animal shelter and I believe the people that adopted him had no idea what they were getting into. He mostly just wants to be with his human all the time. He is a very loyal boy.

Daisy is a 3.5 yr old Shepherd mix. She is sweet as can be. Her current owner still has her but will be moving into a dorm for college and will not be able to keep her. We are assisting in finding her a great forever home.

Daisy is great with other dogs, cats and people and UTD on all her vaccinations. Daisy is fixed as well. Daisy is a medium sized girl around 50 lbs.
